Victorian Renovation: The Kitchen Before, During and After Part 4

So the cabinets arrived, we had moved in and everything was finally coming together! We thought the hardest part was behind us, but we were so wrong! Now we had to contend with the kids in the house, while hanging cabinets as they slept and cutting into our pristine counter tops, hoping we measured just right. Talk about nerve wracking! Fortunately Joe is one handy man, an through painstaking measuring, re-measuring (you know the saying “measure twice, cut once”) we made it through unscathed and so did our kitchen. So here is the final photos and transformation of our kitchen, from misused, old space to flowing, functional and bright!

After about two more weeks of odds and ends work, we now have this beautiful kitchen that is both functional and flowing! We couldn’t be happier, an it is so hard to believe we did most of this work ourselves, except for the drywall and electrical work. Something to be proud of for sure!
