Victorian Renovation: The Kitchen Before, During and After – Part 3

I left off with the walls finally being up in the kitchen space and how my heart soared with the excitement of soon having a kitchen of my own again! We were roughly four weeks into this renovation and while our will remained strong our stamina was falling behind. We had been working on this house daily, for a month. A whole month, daily for about 10 hours each day at least. We were tired, but the light as at the end of this tunnel, and it was so very shiny!

Once the walls were up it was time to get the floor in, walls painted and the space measured for our cabinets!

By this time we had been living without a house of our own for a little over four weeks. It was time to move in, even without a kitchen! So we started to move in and figured we would finish the rest as the cabinets and counter tops arrived.

The cabinets arrived on September 3rd, and we started to make the space ready three days later! See the 4th and final Part of the Kitchen Series for the final look at our kitchen!
